Fortnight Institute

Contemporary Art Gallery | 21 East Third Street, New York, NY
Renovation | completed April 2021

Lighting in collaboration with Natalia Priwin.
Fortnight Insitute is relocating back to the East Village, where it first opened in 2016. This new location required renovation to meet their specific needs.
The space aims to present the character of the building’s existing features and articulations alongside clean, simple hanging spaces, to position the art simultaneously in this East Village location and in its wider context.
A more intimate showing space separates the office fromt eh main gallery, at once providing seclusion and connection. Customer office joinery provides comfortable workin gspace and plenty of storage - a must for Jane and Fabiola, who together own Fortnight Institute.
